GREYHOUNDS REACH THE BEACH
Going to Dewey? Every greyhound owner know you're talking about the largest gathering of retired racers in the U.S. Every October, it draws up to 5,000+ greyhounds to Dewey Beach, Del. where the focus is on education, shopping and beach fun. The Greyhound Project, a non-profit promoting greyhound adoption, started Dewey in 1995.
It's four days of wall-to-wall dogs and people who are passionate about greyhounds. It's the go-to place to shop for everything greyhound, to reunite your hound with littermates and to commune with others committed to finding homes for retired racers.
